Founder/Owner, Philadelphia Eagles Optimist
Kane Renovations was founded by John Kane in 2019 but his interest in home renovations began well before that. While in High School, John was an apprentice to a local tile contractor. To this day, John’s tile work remains one of his favorite and exceptional jobs. After beginning his career as an auto mechanic, John started to fix up the house he was living in to sell. After selling his first home, John bought another one to live in and renovate. By the time he moved on to the third home, he knew he found his passion and left the automotive industry to start Kane Renovations. But if your car breaks down while he is working on your house, he is still a good guy to ask for help.
Kane Renovations, LLC works on all types of remodeling projects from kitchens, bathrooms and additions to finishing your basement or attic. While much of the framing, tile and construction work is completed directly by their team, a trusted group of subcontractors helps fill in the more specialized labor in plumbing, electrical work, and masonry. Talk to John about your project, and he can assemble a team to get the job done right and avoid coordinating with multiple contracting companies.
John resides in Havertown with his wife Jenae and his son Jackson. He loves the Eagles (Go Birds!) and his time at the Jersey Shore. Wear your Eagles shirt to your first few meetings and you might even get a discount.
Mike
Project Manager, Carpenter, Amatuer Conversationalist
Mike works at Kane Renovations as a project manager and carpenter. With his extensive experience in the field, he plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various renovation projects. Mike’s expertise not only lies in project management but also in hands-on carpentry work, allowing him to understand the intricacies of each project from start to finish.
Known for his attention to detail and dedication, Mike is committed to ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards. Clients can rely on his guidance and expertise to navigate through different options and make informed decisions that align with their vision and budget.
To distract Mike from his passion for building, you can ask him about playing lacrosse (even as an adult), his young children, Philadelphia sports (including the Flyers), cars, hunting or fishing.
AJ
Job Finisher, Patrick Batemen Impression Enthusiast
AJ has been a member of the Kane Renovations team from day 1. John and AJ worked together in their previous careers in auto repair before moving into construction.
AJ is the ultimate job finisher. A beautiful finished project takes a lot of spackle, paint, baseboards, trim, and cleanup and AJ is an expert in all of these final details.
AJ is also the strongest member of the team and can move furniture, and appliances you would never think possible with one person. Maybe the huge water jug he brings to every job is full of something else that makes him stronger.
If you want to talk about the Phillies, AJ is probably your best bet because his boss John isn’t a baseball fan. AJ is also the best member of the team to talk to if you need to get a reservation at Dorsia.
